What does a magician cost?
No two events are the same, so I don't sell fixed packages. Tell me your date, where it is and roughly how many guests you expect, and I'll come back with one figure for the whole thing — agreed before the date, with nothing added afterwards.
What people usually book
Close-up set
About an hour of strolling card magic, moving between groups.
Full event
Two to three hours, or strolling plus a seated show as the centrepiece.
Private lesson
One-to-one sleight of hand coaching, in person around Portland or over video.
What moves the price
How long I'm performing
An hour of close-up is the usual starting point. Longer events, or an evening split across arrival drinks and a seated show, cost more.
How many guests
Close-up magic is performed to small groups at a time, so a hundred guests simply takes longer to reach than twenty.
Where it is
Anywhere in the Portland metro is included. Further out in Oregon or Washington may add travel, and I'll tell you the number before you commit.
The date
December weekends and peak wedding dates go early and are the busiest dates in my diary.
